Xiaomi has recently begun sending MIUI 12.5 beta update with 21.1.11. Now, as per the new news, Xiaomi has started to roll out a new MIUI 12.5 beta update which holds the version 21.1.12.

As per the official changelog, the update brings Mi Yellow pages for caller ID, it identifies messages and calls from businesses. The update further improves application stability to enhance users’ experience.
Previously, the 21.1.11 update optimized the projection experience in Casting and home page backup error prompt in Mi Cloud. It also fixed several known issues.

Other than this, the latest update for some devices has been released while for more, it is expected to be released before 18:00 today. The Redmi Note 8 released a development version based on MIUI 12.5, a number of optimizations and improvements, to pay tribute to brave early adopters.
Also, as the company is investigating issues that may affect stability, Redmi Note 8 Pro is suspended today. And due to the upgrade of the Android version, Redmi Note 9 4G will start to release MIUI12.5 in mid-to-late January 2021.
