Xiaomi provides free repairs to owners of brick Mi A3 units

As we know, Xiaomi’s Mi A series Android One smartphones are almost dead because no new models were released last year. Despite this, Mi A3 is the last model in the series and is still receiving updates as it has not reached the end of its life.

Last week, Xiaomi launched a surprising Android 11 update for the Mi A3, which unfortunately bricked the device. This update brought sadness to the users, making the device dead. After extensive coverage, Xiaomi had to stop launching.

The official statement sent to us informs us that affected users can repair their devices for free, even if their devices are out of warranty. All they have to do is visit any of more than 2,000 service centers around the country.

Xiaomi also apologized to affected users in an official statement, but this may not be enough for some users. Xiaomi often encounters problems with the Mi A series in terms of updates. For example, the Mi A2 Lite Android 10 update must be released three times.

In addition, Mi A1 also encountered some problems when it was updated to Android Pie. Mi A3 users must sign a petition to force Xiaomi to release an Android 10 update.

Currently, there is no official announcement as to when the new update will be released. We will notify you when we get more detailed information.
