After sending various updates to different Mi, Redmi, and Poco devices, Xiaomi is now rolling out the newest update for Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro users. The update brings several optimizations as well as carries new features and fixes too.
It holds the Android 9 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.2.0.PEIMIXM and can be download in 2.0GB. The update is currently rolling out for global users while it is expected to be rolled out in more regions soon.
JOIN XIAOMI ON TELEGRAM
As per the official changelog, the latest update for these devices optimizes animations in selected scenes. It fixes the issue that the notification shade wasn’t displayed correctly in Dark Mode.
It further adds a new function – swipe down from the upper left corner to open the Notification shade and from the upper right corner to open the Control center.
Also, after installing this update, full-screen gestures will be ignored on the Lock screen alarm page and the Control center will be closed by incoming calls. For more information regarding the update, do check the complete changelog below.
