Take an early look at the Redmi K40 ahead of its official announcement

According to the latest information, Redmi CEO Lu Weibing announced that Redmi will be one of the first companies to launch smartphones based on Snapdragon 888 SoC. Today, the first high-quality Redmi K40 smartphone render appeared on Chinese social networks.

For several weeks, real photos of smartphones appeared on the internet and were faked in the form of Redmi K40. It is worth noting that these devices are similar in the design of the main camera, but there are also obvious differences. Maybe this is Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro.

As per the reports, Redmi K40 should be equipped with a flat LCD screen, 4500 mAh battery, support for fast charging, and stereo speaker. It should also run Android 11 out of the box.

Now we have obtained a real photo of the Redmi K40 series. The phone in the photo has a thicker confidential phone box. Nevertheless, we can still see that the Redmi K40 series adopts a new design.

According to the picture, the K40 series will adopt a center punch design. This is different from the pill-shaped punch on the right side of the Redmi K30 screen.

The image also shows that the back of the smartphone has also adopted a new design. It has four cameras like the previous generation, but the layout of the cameras is different. The shell is a rectangle with curved corners, the top is a large sensor, the middle is two small sensors, and the bottom is a large sensor. The camera sensor uses a quadrilateral shape.

Moreover, the image also shows that the K40 has a 3.5 mm audio jack on the lower left. There is a USB-C port in the middle and a speaker grille on the right. At the top left of the smartphone is the SIM card and memory card slot.

According to reports, the company will officially release Redmi K40 this month. The device is expected to be equipped with a high refresh rate and a flagship Snapdragon processor. We can also expect a faster-charging speed in this technology.
