Mi 10i will go official in India on January 5 with a 108MP primary camera

According to the latest information, Manu Kumar Jain, head of Xiaomi India, confirmed today that Mi 10i will be launched in India on January 5. It is specially made for India and customized by Mi’s Indian product team, so the 10i is named “i”. He also confirmed a new 108MP camera sensor that is different from the Mi 10T-Lite.

This smartphone was already launched last month in China, which is called as Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. It was first launched in September in the form of Mi 10T-Lite but equipped with a 64MP camera. It also obtained BIS certification and was recently listed on Geekbench.

As the device is based on Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. It should have similar specifications such as it comes with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support. It also equipped with Snapdragon 750G 8nm processor with Adreno 619 GPU.

Xiaomi is the first company to use a 108MP camera sensor. The module debuted in Mi Note 10 Pro. On the front side, the phone will offer a 16MP selfie camera.

This phone will be powered by a 4,820mAh battery and has a 33W fast charging function. It will also feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, 5G connectivity, splash resistance, and more.

Xiaomi may change one or two things for the Indian market. However, the company says that it will have the latest processor, a high refresh rate screen, and a dual-tone finish, as revealed in the teaser image.

Moreover, the phone will be available on Amazon.in along with mi.com and Mi offline stores.
