Redmi Note 9T spotted on Geekbench with MediaTek Dimensity 800U

According to the latest information, Redmi Note 9T has now appeared on Geekbench, further proving that it is the symbol of China’s Redmi Note9 5G. The listing also indicates that the hypothetical Global variant will carry an older version of Android.

Xiaomi mobile phone with model number M2007J22G has been benchmarked with MediaTek Dimensity 800U on Geekbench and is said to be identified as Redmi Note 9T 5G. Apart from this, the list also shows that the global version can be launched in the Android 10 operating system (such as Redmi Note 9 5G).

Recall that devices with similar models have passed Thailand’s NBTC and Malaysia’s SIRIM certification. Among them, NBTC revealed that the device will debut as Redmi Note 9T 5G.

In any case, the device under test runs 4GB RAM and has an ARM MT6853T processor. In other words, the 4GB version does not exist in China because it is only sold in 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB UFS 2.2 storage versions.

Moreover, despite the low RAM, the score is almost equal to the Chinese version. As per the test results, the smartphone scored 598 in the single-core test and 1760 in the multi-core test.

Redmi Note 9T specifications (expected)

Redmi Note 9T 5G will feature a 6.53-inch FHD + LCD display with a hole in the upper left and equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with a 22.5W fast charging.

On the rear side, a circular camera layout will house three sensors as Note9 Pro 5G, which have a 48MP main lens, 8MP ultra-wide angle, and 2MP sensors.

Moreover, it will also include some other features like SA / NSA 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, microSD slot, and more.

Redmi Note 9T is expected to be launched in January 2021. However, the company has not released any official announcements regarding smartphones. So let’s wait for the official trailer for more details.
