Pulse measurement accuracy of Xiaomi Mi 11 can take place of smartwatch

Xiaomi recently unveiled the world’s first phone to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 888 chipset – the Mi 11. The device comes with all the premium specs you’d expect from a next-gen flagship.

The specs include a 6.81-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up 256GB of fast UFS 3.1 storage, 55W fast wired charging support, 50W fast wireless charging support, and a great set of cameras.

On top of that, the device offers some really unique features, one of them is an in-display fingerprint scanner that doubles up as a heart rate monitor. The fingerprint scanner in Mi 11 plays two tasks at a time, it first recognizes the fingerprint and then measures heart rate.

The CEO of Xiaomi has officially announced that the Xiaomi Mi 11 smartphone is not lower than modern smartwatches in terms of pulse measurement accuracy.

Other than this, with the price tag of 3999 yuan ($612), Mi 11 is already up for pre-bookings and will be available to purchase from January 1, 2021.
