Xiaomi has recently revealed that the company is breaking the developing line of MIUI and announced the “dream-work” MIUI 12.5 before the release of MIUI 13.
Now a few days ago, Jin Fan – the general manager of the software and experience department declared that the MIUI 12.5 will release before the year-end.

“Although it is .5, its system research and development volume is no less than a complete version of previous years, it is a complete version disguised as DLC”, said Jin Fan.

This new version of MIUI will come with several optimizations and system stability improvement. For now, there are no official details about the MIUI 12.5 features but it is expected to come with new and improved features.
As per some old reports, MIUI 12.5 will come with an improved privacy setting, photos to PDF converter, redesign volume menu, mobile phone butler application, new animations changes, and more.
Also, it is revealed that Xiaomi will bring a desktop mode with MIUI 12.5. This desktop mode will only need an external display and input device to fetch a desktop display.
