A few months ago, the Chinese smartphone maker officially unveiled this smart device which comes pre-installed with Android 10. Other than this, the smartphone offers a 6.53-inch display, a huge 5,000mAh battery life, 4GB of RAM in addition to 64GB of internal storage, and a set of new features.
Now, Xiaomi has begun sending a new software update for Redmi 9 in Russia. It brings the latest MIUI 12, which adds some new features as well as fixes and optimizations.

This update comes with the November 2020 security patch to enhance system security. You can now open the notification shade by swiping down from the upper left corner and open the control center by swiping the upper right corner.
Adding to this, the update also optimizes the control center layout in landscape mode and brightness and color improvements for wallpapers in Dark mode. The issue in which the device’s home screen goes black and started flashing after unlocking in some cases has fixed in the new updates.
